Of Akron, OH, formerly of Brookline, suddenly on Thursday, September 4, 2014. Beloved wife of Jack L.; mother of Jessica and Chelsey Loyd; stepmother of Melissa Costa; sister of Laurie M. Gialanella, Colleen Elder and the late Steven Murray; grandmother of Justin Jennings. Friends may call at THE FRANK F. Hey momma. A lot has happened in the last few years. The last few months have been the hardest it´s been in a long time, probably the hardest it´s ever been in my whole life. I´m sure you were there with loving arms to meet with dad. At least I hope that´s what happened. I need you two to keep an eye on me more than you ever have please. Keep an eye on chels too. You have a new grandson!!! He´s so perfect. He´s really a huge reason Chelsey has been getting through this as well as she has, and me too. I hate that you two won´t get the chance to watch him grow in person :( life isn´t fair at all sometimes. But I´m so grateful to have Chels. I love you so much momma, tell dad I said hi and I love him. We all miss you both so much down here.

Hey momma. It’s been a long while since I’ve written to you. ALOT has happened since I was last here. A lot of really bad things have happened, but a lot of really good things have happened too. Wish you could be here for all these milestones the boys are making. Carter and Alvin will be in 1st grade soon, and Andrew starts kindergarten. They’re growing up so fast, you would have been the BEST grandma (or whatever you wanted to be called lol) Carter calls dad Granddad and Alvin and Andrew just stick with good ol grandpa lol I talk about you to Carter all the time, he’s never met you but he knows all about you and how wonderful you are! I found out just recently that your sista Ann had passed away, I really hope you were there to greet her and show her the ropes of heaven. I want to believe you two play long games of scrabble with lots of snacks and laughs. She’s lucky to gets to see you. I miss you so much Momma. I’ll try to keep you updated more often. Hey momma. Missing you like crazy. Two years is coming up. 2 YEARS. Doesn't seem real. You've missed out on so much. What I would do for just one more day with you. One more phone call. One more moment. :( still waiting to see you sitting in your chair in the garage when I look in the rearview mirror as I pull in the driveway. But you're never there.. Still waiting to hear your laugh as you walk in the door but I never hear it... You used to visit me in my dreams, where have you been? I miss you. SO much. I miss our talks. What I would do for just one more conversation with you momma. I love you so much & I hope I will see you in my dreams soon. Please watch over me. Watch over Chelsey and Alvin, she needs you. Watch over dad, let him know he's not all alone in the house. Missy needs you too. And Carter, oh mom you would just adore him. I tell myself you hand picked him for me he's that perfect. WHY, WHY, would God take such an extraordinary person from us. You were so many things to so many different people. You touched everyone you meet. Your beautiful smile, that infectious laugh. Oh that laugh, what I wouldn't do to hear that again. I miss you so much already. You was in my life for 40 years, I don't know how to live without you. This is a mistake to take you, when you had so much more to do. I love you always and forever.

I just can't believe she is gone, I will miss that spark in her eyes, that great smile and laugh . Rather you hadn't seen her for a year or a week she was happy to see you and let you know you mattered to her . It was an honor to know her . Love to all .

As a square dance friend of Phyllis Murray, it seems incomprehensible that your family has been dealt the double-whammy of the loss of your loved one, who gave so much care and comfort to Phyllis during her last weeks. It was with a very heavy heart that Jim Brown announced Sheryl's unexpected death to the dancers at Y-Knots on Thursday evening. Prayers are with you as you go forward to find peace and a new direction in your lives without Sheryl.
