Shirley Anne Baird (Roberts), aged 89, passed peacefully on July 17, 2025, in Bradenton, FL. Born May 8, 1936, Shirley lived a full, vibrant life, marked by her dedication to her family.

Shirley was devoted to her husband, Ralph Baird, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage. Together, they raised children and traveled extensively across the country. Shirley's career spanned several roles, including working for Liverpool NY School System and St. Stephen's Schools. Post-retirement, she contributed to her community through various volunteer activities.

Known for her joyous, resilient spirit, Shirley had a passion for music, sewing, canning, traveling, bowling, cards, reading, and cherishing moments with her family and friends. These hobbies brought great joy to Shirley and enriched the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Baird (Leaine), Judith Stephens (G. David), and JoAnn Puffer (Jamie); five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her mom Hilda Reschke and Uncle Robert Mahoney, a brother and a sister.

A memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2200 26th St W, Bradenton, FL, July 22nd at 6:00 p.m., with a gathering afterward at the Stephens' residence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gift donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Shirley's memory, honoring her commitment to her community and faith.
