Shirley BRADSHAW Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on Oct. 30, 2015.
BRADSHAW, Shirley
June 23, 1935 – October 20, 2015
Shirley died peacefully on Tuesday evening, October 20 at the Christine Morrison Hospice. She was predeceased by her mother Ethel and her brother Keith. Born in Saskatchewan Shirley and her family moved to Mission, BC when she was only three months old. After graduation Shirley worked as a legal secretary in the Fraser Valley until her retirement. Over the years she was an active member of the community and of her church. Shirley was the kind of person who was always interested in others; people were drawn to her and she made friends wherever she was. She will be greatly missed. In the last weeks Shirley received exceptional care by the staff and volunteers at the Christine Morrison Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Hospice in Mission or to a charity of one's choice. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Anglican Church in Mission.

You will be missed. My thoughts are turning to the very early '80's when I had the pleasure of attending your Xmas functions at your home, and all the carols sung around the piano. Thank you for all the years you volunteered at the Fraser River Heritage Park.
