Shirley J. Cellar

MARION: Shirley J. Cellar, age 65, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at 4:23 p.m. in the Marion General Hospital.

She was born in Marion, Ohio on March 7, 1948 to Howard and Evelyn (Mattison) VanSickle.

Shirley married Ralph J. Cellar in Marion, Ohio on June 5, 1966 and he survives.

Along with Ralph, she is survived by a daughter, Kathy (Robert) Sullivan of Marion, OH.; granddaughter, Kelsea Sullivan; two sisters, Pat White of Marion, OH. and Carol Hatfield of Portsmouth, OH.; several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Cellar; sister; Charlotte Dye; and brother, Howard Eugene VanSickle.

She was employed for 25 years as a die setter and cutter for Midwest Lettering and a member of Moose Lodge #889.

Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28th, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. A private family graveside service in the LaRue Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Shirley's name.

I worked at Midwest Lettering with her for a few years she loved her family.she was always talking about her granddaughter. May her memories bring you peace in your time of sorrow. The lightt over her die cutter will always shine as she did.RIP Shirley!
