Our sincerest sympathies to all of Shirleys family who were so important and a she was proud of all of you. Both Stacy and myself worked with Shirley in many capacities over the years. She was a wonderful and caring person. She was willing to take on new challenges when many other would have stayed with the status quo. Shirley was always concerned about the welfare of others in the work place. We remember well her "Christmas Lottery", and her great sense of humor.
We will miss her as well.

To Kim, Ken (Rocio) & Caren, just wanted to let you all know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time of loss. Your Mom loved you guys and all of her grandchildren very very much! She talked about you guys all the time with such pride and joy! And though it was difficult to see her go, I hope you will take comfort in knowing that she was blessed to have such a loving caring family who looked after her so well during all of the hard times. She will truly be missed, but I am very grateful that she is no longer in any pain and I am proud to have called her my freind! It is thanks to her that I have FINALLY quit smoking! Thank you Shirley!!! :) May we all continue to pray for the Cure for Cancer! Love & God Bless! Julie-Ann Toma

My sincerest condolences to Ken, Caren, Kim and all the members of your family on your loss. Shirley was a good friend of mine for the past 25 years. I had the pleasure of working with her at the hospital switchboard. She was truly a beautiful person and I always enjoyed her company. I have lost a good friend but I will always remember and treasure the times we shared together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
