Shirley Jones Obituary
Shirley was a woman whose life spanned nearly nine decades of change and growth. Born and raised in the heart of Georgia, she carried with her a deep appreciation for nature and creativity throughout her life. Her love for gardening brought beauty to every home she touched, while her passion for arts and crafts reflected her vibrant spirit and attention to detail.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, W.W. Jones Jr., and her son James Jones. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Shirley is lovingly remembered by her son Michael Jones and daughter Janet Jones. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Shauna Carr, Jeremy Jones, Justin Jones, Joshua Jones, and Brianna Robertson; as well as her great-grandchildren: Justice Jones, Jeremy Jones Jr., Blake Jones, Noah Jones, Austin Jones, and Destinee Johnston. She also leaves behind two great-great-grandchildren: Kennedy Jones and Raymes Jones.
Her family will remember Shirley not only for the love she gave but also for the joy she found in simple pleasures-tending to flowers under the Georgia sun or crafting something beautiful with her hands. These passions were more than hobbies; they were expressions of a life lived with care and creativity.
May Shirley's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
