Shirley Kubat Obituary
A graduate of Norwich Free Academy, Shirley worked as an administrative assistant at both Norwich State Hospital and later at Connecticut Valley Hospital. She retired from Connecticut Valley Hospital.
Shirley was a beloved mother and grandmother whose presence brought warmth and strength to her family. She is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter Pamela Gural; her son William Johndrow and his wife Bethany; grandchildren Jack Gural, Jessie Gural, Rachel Wilson and her husband Jack, and Preston Johndrow; and great-grandchildren Lucille and Muriel Wilson. She also leaves behind her beloved niece Deanna Brucoli and her husband Marcus, along with their children Mikayla and Rocco.
A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on October 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Preston VFW. All who knew Shirley are welcome.
