Dear Mark and Family, We have been dear friends for a very long time, and I am sorry I could not be with you today for your Mom's funeral. You have been such a wonderful son for her. I wish I had been able to meet her. May she rest in heavenly peace.

I first met Shirley through my wife,Linda, who was Dr.Kohlhase's niece. I found Shirley a very delightful person to talk to. I didn't know Shirley before her stroke, but from what I have gathered she was a very good nurse. She will be missed. I will miss the times talking to Shirley and Wil, Fred and Marian. They are all gone and are now in the presence of the Lord. Enjoy your heavenly homecoming, Shirley, you have earned it.
