It was just on May 2013 met Rangada, Jane and Sheila in Germany for the first time Meeting them gave me immense happiness. Often heard about him that he was loving, kind hearted and fun loving. He never addressed me as Rupu but Gauri. Hearing the name i readily accepted it. On Pia's wedding we met him at the castle ,he was so happy to see us there. I can still recall the glee on his face. during our stay he took all of us for dinner as part of Mother's Day celebration and we enjoyed Chinese cuisine

To continue Our drive to Weisbadan along with Rangada and Jane to visit the Russian temple and our short conversations on our way. on 11th May we went for sight seeing at Heidelburg the initiative was taken by Rangada. On13May evening again we went for a drive while returning we dropped him and Jane at the doorstep of the hotel. At time of our departure he lovingly shook my hands. And said soon to meet. I hardly knew it was the final farewell and never to meet him. It is heart rendering to believe that he is no longer among us. The memories are to be treasured. May the Almighty give eternal peace to his departed soul. Regards Rupu.

I had met Rangamama (Shubrendu Kumar Nandy) long time back when he had come to India last. It was a party time for the family. I was then in school. He was a LIVE person and very good at heart. May his soul rest in Peace. My condolences for his immediate family. I am the son of his elder sister, Basanti (Chordi).

It is really heartening to believe that out beloved "Rangada " is no more with us. Pray to almighty GOD to keep his soul rest in peace.
I remember our many childhood memories. One of these I would like to share that he did not know his hidden capability. He was under impression that he had a very dull brain and he can't do much specially in his education. So he did not took much interest in study. But I know how he underestimate his capability and I often told him one day you will discover your hidden treasure and that day you will not be honoured but also make all of us proud. He got an opportunity to go to Canada and after going there with a long tussell with "Didi" ultimately convinced him to get admission in an university there and he found himself extremely delighted specially the education system which is matching his nature and the way he desired to be. Ultimately he gained his lost interest and completed his study in computer and settled there in Canada.

There are many more small incidents coming to my mind.

Oh God . Rest his soul in peace.
