Lara, Joe, Sydney and Matthew,
I'm not sure if you will see this message, since I don't think that you are the ones who set it up. This is Jeanne Goplin, the kids' childcare provider before you moved to Hilton Head in the late 90s. I think of you guys all the time. I have so many great memories and photos of the fun we had when JoeJoe and Sydney were in my care. I felt compelled to track you guys down this morning to try and reconnect, when I came across Sid's obituary. I am so saddened to hear this awful news. My heart breaks for you all. Sid was a good man and i know he loved you all so much. He was quiet but had a great sense of humor. I miss you all so much. Chris, Eli and I just moved to Wisconsin in April of this year. I would love to hear from any of you, when you have the time. My email address is [email protected]. Our entire family sends our love and prayers out to you all! Jeanne, Chris, Eric and Eli ❤

I am so heart broken and sorry to your family for the loss of Sid. I grew up with Sid from Elementary to HighSchool. I played a lot of Y Ball with Sid. He was always a great athlete and friend. I hate we had lost contact over the years but I will always have great memories from the past. I send my heart felt condolences to the family and prayers of comfort to you in the coming days of grief. Thinking of you all!

Forever, lovingly, Mr Sid to our family. Always such a friendly face and willing to drop everything to help. I can point to many projects in our house that Mr Sid had influence in. We never knew how to do anything and he knew how to do everything. Always lit up talking about his kids or our kids. We will miss Mr Sid greatly !!
