Sidney V. Manders Sr.

I am so very sorry to hear about Sid's passing. He was such a fine caring man and good friend to both Don and I all those years. Please accept my heartfelt sorrow and know that my prayers go out to you Dee, Dusty and the whole family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sid's family. Fond memories of Sid's booming voice as he and my dad would talk about all the great things Mack trucks could do. I was always fascinated by his heroics in World War II. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear we lost Sid. I have lots of good memories in the early 80s of Sid dropping in to visit when I was at Longman Truck Sales, Savage, MN and swaping stories with Irv. Who could forget the Mercedes Benz with the bulldog on the hood. Irv always said, "If Mack made Post Toasties that's all Sid would eat for breakfast."

So sorry to hear of Sid's passing. My father, Merlin Dyvig, was tail-gunner on Sid's B17. Dad always speaks very highly of Sid. I met him a couple times on his visits to Iowa, great man, someone to be proud of! . God bless you all.

Sid was one of the most giving persons i ever knew. He helped me out a lot.

Sid had such a wonderful, warm and loving heart! We nurses here at Fairview Ridges have many great memories from taking care of him! He will be greatly missed by all!! We are sorry for your loss! You all have an amazing family!

I had the pleasure of knowing Sidney and Dee and he was a wonderful man with an amazing personality and sense of humor. Sydney and Brittany I am so sorry for the loss of your grandpa and Wendy for the loss of your father.

Sorry to hear about Sid. I was a friend of Jim back in 47, 48 & 49 before I left for basic in the USAF in 1950

Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Dee and extended family. Uncle Sid was kind and giving. We will always have many memories of holidays, cousin weddings, visits, etc. that will be treasured.
