Simeon DEE Obituary
April 4, 1935 - June 2, 2012
Passed away suddenly Saturday, June 2, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife, Marietta (neé Naval) and nine children: Marie Josine, Karen, Simeon Jr. (Annie), Stuart, Melanie (Larry), Scott (Pat), Stanley (Rani), Stephen (Julia), and Frances (Steven); and thirty grandchildren who were his delight. He was a man of strong faith and a magnanimous heart. His entire family is deeply grateful for God's blessings bestowed upon them through him. Novena prayers will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish (Vancouver) June 2-10 except June 5th. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Vancouver at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday June 6th. Viewing and prayers on Tuesday June 5th (OLPH) at 7:00 p.m. Memorial gifts can be made to Headford Cultural Group (http:/ / www.headford.ca/support-us/ ). Condolences may be left at www.kearneyfs.com . Dad/Angkong, you gave us so much, we love you and will miss you every day.

I have known Mr. Dee for over 25 years from the bank where I used to work. He was a very kind and thoughtful man that I have ever met. I will surely miss him.

My name is Paul and I am an employee at Musqueam golf course. Simeon was a true gentleman. He afforded me with a sincere and ever present positive attitude, and I will cherish our encounters. To meet someone with such a kind heart is a rare privelage. My condolences to his friends & family.

Stan and Rani , I was saddened to learn of the passing of your dear Dad . Having lost both of my parents at a young age I know the pain you suffered . Be heartened , this pain will be replaced with fond memories of a full life and the happy memories you will have of him .

I am sorry to be so far away and sorry I never got to attend the wake and funeral. Being so far, I was also one of the last to know he had passed on.
I would like to send our sincere condolences to the whole family especially Auntie Marietta.
My dad and mom always told us how Uncle Simeon was a very kind hearted man and how good he was.
I'm sure he is now in God's arms.

Uncle/Ninong Simeon is the kindest and sweetest man you can ever meet, he will go the long mile to help out anyone, not just family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

I am an employee at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club where Mr. Dee loved to come and play golf. He was the nicest member I have ever met here, and loved to tell me stories about his large family and listen to my sotries about school, and travelling. Mr. Dee will be missed by all employees at Shaughnessy, I was very grateful to meet him and listen to his wisdom that he so often shared with me, he talked so proudly of his family. He was the greatest listener and the greatest talker.
