Dear Joanne,Simon,Dawn and Jessica, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I know you have lost your best friend, but take comfort in the fact that you can look back on your loving memories and remember no one can take these away from you, not even death. I'm so sorry that I won't be there to help and bring comfort to you and your loved ones. You and Simon,Dad, will be in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Aunt Irene

Dear Aunt Jo, Dawn, Jessie, Simon, Wendy and families,
I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Simon's suffering and death; he is gone way too soon. While the last few months have been rough on you, I am sure he felt so loved each time you made him one of his favorites (chicken paprikash), sat and listened to his stories, or played a game with grandpa. He was a very kind man who loved to laugh and volunteered to help others (Boy Scouts). Each of you have so many of his virtues; what a wonderful gift he gave you.
I wish I were closer so that I could be there to support you but know that I've been praying for each of you daily, and of course, you are in my heart. I hope each time you start to feel sad, a funny moment with Uncle Monie flashes across your heart. God bless Uncle Simon; God be with each of you.
all my love,
Dave

Godspeed Uncle Monie.
You gave me my first glimpse of honor and my first car. I was so proud of you when you joined the marines. I joined the Navy because I wanted to make a difference just like you. I will never forget all the things I learned from you. All of our love forever and for always.
