I can not express the hurt in my heart for y’all. We will be praying for y’all. May God ease the terrible pain you are feeling in your heart for the lost of Uncle Simpson, it’s not going to be easy but try to keep remembering the good times and the memories that y’all all made together. Please hug Aunt Olivia and whisper in her ear that I love her an Uncle Simpson, kiss her on the cheek for me.

Please tell all the grandkids how sorry we are for their lost.

It breaks my heart that we are losing all our older generation it is so sad. I think of the days of picking figs, hunting, shelling & snapping beans outside in front of the garages, working the cows, sitting on the front porch and all drinking coffee that maw would bring, the potato maw grew in the quart jar on the front porch, making the black cakes, the sleep overs at maw and paw’s, and paw saying, I don’t want to hear another peep, paw coming in the bedroom with the flit gun, y’all’s little Chihuahua, one of the best memories is us combining paw’s hair and putting the popiyauts in his hair. We all need to make sure we pass all these memories on so they will never be forgotten. I love y’all.

My dear Donna,, I have wanted to call and talk to you, but I can't seem to find the words or stop crying. Please know I love you and your mom and dad . He was such a kind and wonderful person, what we all would hope for in a man.
My most cherished memory of both he and your mom is the way they looked at each other and held each other when they danced together. You could see the love they had , and the rest of us could only wish to have just a touch of such devotion.
If you need anything or i can do anything for you, just let me know.
Please tell your mom i love her and I will be praying for yall. I will see you Tuesday.
Love, Linda
