Hi Mom, how so much has changed since I last wrote the message to you in April 2022. Soon after, Deep dumped me, our marriage and our lives together as a beautiful family with 3 gorgeous children, Sajan, Roshan and Misha were shattered. It has been so tough. I hope to one day find peace and true love, which is what I know my good heart truly deserves. Love you Mom , xoxoxo, I always tried to do the right thing and now, destiny and God has other plans for me and the kids. Miss you Mom and wish you were here to be with me through the hardest time of my life.

Mom you would be so proud of your family right now! You've got 4 grandkids from me and James, Sajan, Roshan, Misha and Oliver! You'd be partying into the night with all of us if you were still here! We love you, adore you and miss you everyday and I feel you often, I know you're still here with me in spirit.

I will forever remember my visit to India with Simi Puwa, it was exciting travelling with someone so spontaneous! We attended a wedding where Puwa jumped on stage to show the dancer how it's done. As you know she had all the moves, loved to dance with her free spirit & huge smile. When we were out shopping in Jalandhar, I'm sure was another 1 of her fave hobbies, she convinced us all to goto a Professional Photography Studio. We had photos taken in Kashmiri dresses, in black & white. They came out quite well & Puwa was always ready for a good photo. Always told it like it is, then & there, which I admire in any body. We went to another wedding at a very poor village, I remember Puwa saying to a person from there, You shouldn't forget your roots. She had every reason to say that & til this day we laugh when we recall her exact words & the reaction of others. Last time I saw Puwa was at 1 of Aman's kid's parties, she stood up on a chair in her sari & got a balloon down for my boy. I did get to briefly meet Bawa Fufar at my sister Nav's wedding. So passive & humble, we can all say they were both very lucky to have eachother. Each time Puwa came to visit she bought a little Canadian ray of sunshine with her. Hi to Goldie, we last met at Aman's wedding, you wasn't too happy at hearing I had decided to quit school. You may be happy to hear I picked up where I left off & have graduated with a Degree. To add you looked stunning on your wedding day along with your Mum. Hope to meet you guys at my next sister's wedding or maybe the 1 after her or the last 1 my brother lol. Just so you all know I am Puwa's eldest brother's, eldest son's, eldest daughter so she was actually my Grandma. Eldest grandchild in the 3rd generation. We once both shared the same surname, Kang. Love to you all Priya from U.K x

I am so sad you are not here. I don't show it or tell anyone but I am always thinking about you and trying my best to be a good person and to take care of dad. And even though you may have had issue with my choices in life, I know you love me and your love overrides anything else. I know how much you loved me.

I miss you mom...

Mom I've been thinking about you a great deal lately . There isn't a day that passes when I don't think of you, remember your smile or you yelling at me over some small little mishap! I miss you so much and love you forever mom! I feel your happy spirit all around me, Sajan and Deep like a breath of fresh air.. You have taught me so much mom, and I can't thank you enough for helping make me a better human being, and to always speak the pure- hearted truth. I love you mom....

Love Always

How time flys, twelve months gone and an emptiness inside with a treasured memory of you Simmi Chachi ji enlightens my heart that still cries.

The last twelve months have been very difficult loosing so many loved ones in a matter of months.

I've opened and shut my lap top many times but couldn't convince my crying heart to type these words any earlier.

I remember Simmi Chachi ji the hot Summers day you married Bawa chaha ji and entered the Randhawa family just like a breathe of fresh air that everyone wanted around them.

You were so loving and caring, spending invaluable time with us, which l cherish forever.

I got to see you in Feb 2012, not the way I'd planned but I'm glad I did.

Simmi chachi ji, you will always remain in my heart and memory forever and no one can ever take that away.

They say loved ones never go away, they walk beside us every day.

May your soul rest in peace and your spirit live on forever.

Love You

Mom, it has been three months since you have been gone...I still cherish every moment we shared together as a family....something that stands out is when I would come home for Christmas and finally get to sleep in and downstairs, the amazing aroma of your tasty paranthas would fill the air...then we would eat paranthas and have hot tub chai time...lol...oh mama how I miss you so....

Love from your first...

Dear Randhawa Family,
It is hard to believe she is with us no more. Her bright smile, infectious laughter, warm embrace and loving heart will be missed. Always full of energy and optimism. I will remember her wise words, great fashion and love for life. I hope and pray she has found peace in a much brighter place, one free from pain and suffering. Memories of her beautiful spirit will remain with us forever. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

A beautiful soul who danced this earth and inspired joy and adoration in everyone around her, has now taken flight from the earth. Aunti Simmi, you loved all children in your life as if we were your own. My heart is broken that God called you back so soon, but I remain thankful for all the beautiful memories -your kindness, encouragement, and the many times you stood up for me. May I grow to love others with the same wholeheartedness in which you loved me and my family.
