Skip Higgins Obituary
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank H. Higgins and Marion (Langan) Higgins.
Skip proudly served in the Army National guard for 6 years. He worked as a driver for Wonder Bread until his retirement, then drove busses for the Springfield (Montco) School System.
Skip was an avid golfer and lover of the Eagles, Phillies, and Notre Dame football. He amassed many friendships due to his outgoing personality. His proudest achievement was receiving a full remission report after recently battling Leukemia for a number of months.
Surviving are his brother, Gerry Higgins (Pat), sons Michael Higgins (Barbara) and Steven Higgins, grandchildren Ryan Higgins (Anna), Jordan Higgins, and great grandchildren Abigal and Alora Higgins.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025 at Halligans Inn, Flourtown, PA., from noon until 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Rescue Organization.
