Although I did not know Skyler, I do know you and I am so very sorry for your loss...there is nothing more devastating than losing a child no matter what the age. Please know that I have thought of you often and my thoughts and prayers are with you and Skyler's family.

Hi Bambi;
Words could never express how I feel for you right now.
My heart aches for you and the pain that you are feeling during this time.
However please know that I truly have you and your family in my prayers and I trust that God has your heart in his hands to relieve the hurt.

My favorite: Psalm 70

I never had the pleasure of meeting Skyler, I've only heard wonderful things from someone else who did know him. From everything I've heard he was a selfless, loving man who went out of his way to help others. I hope his loved ones can find some semblance of comfort when they see how loved this man was. Rest in peace.

You are my baby SkySKy and I am going to miss making those pancakes for you and your friends after midnight and at 1:15 am...just because you was all hungry! You can't even imagine how MANY people LOVED you. I am going to miss seeing you walk up my driveway with a pretty young lady on your arm.....going to miss throwing your clothes in the dryer for you and folding. There is so many thing I am going to MISS about you....but the thing I am going to miss the MOST...is the HUGE HUGS you always game me and the 3 SWEET words you ALWAYS told me when you left....I LOVE YOU. Although I will NEVER be able to hear you SPEAK those 3 sweet words to me again, I know I WILL FEEL your love surrounding me! I look forward to you stopping by to let me know that you are alright. I WILL know the sign when you come. Save a place for me up there. I LOVE and MISS YOU my SkySky. Fly those beautiful wings. Until we meet again... R.I.P son.

I was Skyler's first grade teacher at Lowell and I remember him learning to read in his husky little boy voice... reading parts of Make Way For Ducklings by Robert McCloskey. He'd get everyone tickled at the 'old timey" cars and outfits in this 1940's picture book. Skyler had a big personality at a little age! I am so very sorry for your loss and send prayers for you and your family.

I will never forget Skylar coming out to the car, and helping me to unload the groceries, didn't ask him, he just came. He was like that, would just help people. He sat with us in the emergency room, and made us all laugh, we needed to laugh that day, was a devastating time in my life, his smile, and humor helped us through it. I wish there were more that I could do to help his family through this devastating loss and time in your lives. My heart goes out to all of you, I am praying for God to wrap his arms of comfort around you and Hold you all through this time, for His grace to be abundant to get you through the next few days, months, and in the years to come. He will be greatly missed!

My deepest condolences to the family. There is no greater loss than the loss of a child. I cannot imagine the pain affecting the loss of Skyler. I only hope that you can move on in time as I would believe Skyler would want always remembering the wonderful child that he was. You are all in my prayers

My memory of Skyler. His Grandmother is my dear long friend. Sky was 3 and he came to my house and my daughter was showing him how to go down the stairs on his bottom so he would not fall. So much laughing but he learned it and then it was just fun. RIP Sky everyone loves you :)

We grew apart after middle school. But you taught me a huge lesson every women needs to know in life---. You loved Journey "Changes" and we're the only guy who used to call my house phone and hangup on my Stepdad but he still like you regardless. You wore my teeny weeny hoodies around break outside Holbrook and made us all laugh at the rink. We miss you. Fly high.

Skyler you will be greatly missed..

I remember when you came and stayed with me and the girls for a week for the first time. You were about 6-7 yrs old.
You got so mad at me when I wouldn't let you have any pop. You called your mom crying telling her I was mean and she told you that you had to stay... Other than that we had a great time with you the whole week. It was a pleasure to know you and spend time with you. You were a great kid.
You will always be in our hearts and prayers...

Love you Bunches

I am the mother of a friend of Skylar's. We gave Skylar a ride home from Holbrook Middle School more days than I can count. Then I was his assistant principal at Ashbrook. He was always such a sweet and funny guy. My heart just breaks for all involved.
