Sondra Fowler Obituary
Sondra began her professional journey as a hairdresser before transitioning to a career in banking. She ultimately retired as a bank teller, where her dedication and warm demeanor left a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike.
A Christian who loved the Lord , He was the guiding light throughout her life. Her strength was matched only by her compassion-she was the rock of her family, offering support and love through every season of life.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Patrick Fowler; sons James Robert Fowler and Douglas Fowler; daughters-in-law Melisa Fowler and Shawnette Fowler; grandchildren Dustin Fowler, Megan Greene, Stephanie Bommersbach, Ashton Sauceda, Cassie Rodriguez, Cody Young, Tye Young, Brittani Coffman, Alexandra Latham, and Tristan Fowler; and her sister Karen Rhea along with niece Judy Rhea. Each of them carries forward the legacy of her love and resilience.
She was also dearly loved by her sister-in-law Dorothy Fowler and niece Lucinda Laro and her husband Noah.
Sondra was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lois Runyan; and her sister Barbara Runyan Boyland and niece Kathy Boyland Hicks.
In addition to being a pillar for those around her, Sondra found joy in simple pleasures. She loved to fish-relishing the peace of the water-and she had a fondness for playing the slot machines. These hobbies brought her happiness and reflected her spirited nature.
May Sondra's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. A Graveside Service will be held on October 3, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home 6801 E I20BL

I wish I could have more time back with you. But I am so very grateful to spend some of your last moments together and I got to tell you how much I loved you. That my kids got to see you and tell you they loved you. They only knew you for a short time but they´ve asked about you everyday since. Thank you for loving me as your own. For raising Doug into the man he is so I could have such a great dad to look up to. And for loving my grandpa and being the glue to the family. I promise to take care of them all to the best of my abilities. I could never fill the big shoes you left but together as a team we will make sure to take of grandpa until he is home with you. We love you Grandma. Enjoy Heaven and we will see you again
