Sparky SIMPSON Obituary
Loved and admired by so many, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sparky, taken too soon, June 11, 2012. Predeceased by father Gordon, mother Vera, son Robert, survived by wife Leanne; sons Derek, Andy, David and Joel; daughters Carly, Gina/Tom and Keri; granddaughter Alexis and grandson Trenton; brother John/Pam; sister Sheila. Sparky had many nephews and nieces. Passionate of so many, it was no wonder how many friends he had and so many he thought of as family.
OFTEN IMITATED, NEVER DUPLICATED.
Sparky was truly one of a kind. A Celebration of Life will be held July 7, 2012.

I met Sparky during a difficult period of my life. He inspired me in many ways. I was unable to be there but I'm sure he understands the reason why. Miss him.

Thanks Sparky for you 40 years of friendship, the memories will last forever. When my bike was broken you stayed up until 3am to fix it so I could ride at 7 the next day. How many friends would do that??? Always a smile, always great stories, always a friend. LOVE & RESPECT

From the ride from the Turf, So many Harley's paying tribute, The Amazing painting we all signed, your family and friends that put it all together, the 1,000 friends that came to pay much deserved respect, even the weather was perfect for you! My most heartfelt condolences on the loss of 'Sparky'. I've only known him for about 3 years but my wife and I both really liked him. He was very colourful and a very friendly man. I am sooo sorry that i was to busy to find the time to get to your place and see you. When i talked to you in April i said to myself. " i have to get out there," but work has had me all over. Now it is to late. I didn't know you that well but you sure did give me insite and helped me grieve for my husband and your lost friend. You will be missed Sparky. Find Harley and ride like you bothe used to do.

The world has lost a wonderful genuine light in the passing of Sparky. I met Sparky when I was 14 and became best of friends with Robbie. Even after I moved to Ontario Sparky always kept in touch like a favorite Uncle. Ride free and give Robbie a hug for me Sparky. I love you. You will be missed.

We are so sad to hear the news. I am glad for the visits we had. Our thoughts and hearts go out to Leanne and all his family and close friends. I hope we can make the trip back home in time for the celebration of life, but if not just know how much we want to be there.

Sparky ! Where does one begin - we both grew up in Parry Sound and when he found me here he welcomed me (and my family) into his home like an old lost friend. I am sorry we never got to go out as a family Sparky - you were a man of integrity and my life is better that you walked through it.
