Our hearts are breaking for you, Deb and Barry, and your family. Before reading your loving announcement, we knew Spencer would be a beautiful young man. He also sounded strong, independent and adventurous - outstanding qualities. Words do not do justice to the heartfelt sympathy we extend to all of you. Infinite prayers and love are sent your way.

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to you. I met you at a very difficult time in my life now I think of you in your very difficult time. I cannot begin to understand the loss you feel for a wonderful son, I can only say I cry with you, I pray for you and may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

I could never imagine the heartache you will all go through in the days, months and years ahead. Keep wonderful memories of Spencer at the front of your hearts and minds. He had many friends here in Calgary and the accident has shaken the community to the core. He will truly be missed and our prayers are with you always.

I was saddened to hear of Spencer's passing. You may not remember me...I got to know you about 10 years ago when I was the family's nanny for about 1 year. Spencer was a curious boy and at times a bit of a rascal...still a lovable little boy; his smile more often than not got him out of trouble. As I learn more about him from what I have read, I am glad that he lived his life large. He will be missed.
