Spencer always has a smile and a joke :) He was my boyfriend for a little while in jr high and I remember he rode his horse to my house and I thought it was awesome....like the Lone Ranger! Haha! I wore his football jersey for powderpuff football one year. Spencer was awesome and always looking to have a good time. Great guy! I look forward to seeing him again some day.

Our thoughts are with you during this time of sorrow. I'll always remember Spencer for a few things; first, he was the toughest kid I ever coached pound for pound. He hit like a run away freight train. Add to that the fact that he had no fear of anyone or anything, made it so most teams and players took one shot his way and then spent the rest of the game going away from him. Yet, with all that toughness he had a soft heart. Many times I witnessed him help teammates get better, or offer words of encouragement when someone was down. He was an incredibly well liked teammate. He was quiet, but others were drawn to him. May the comforter touch your hearts and souls and provide you peace.

Spencer was the best. I can't believe he's gone. He was a couple of years older than me and we rode the same bus. He was so nice to everyone. Once he caught a lizard or a frog in his front yard, I can't remember which. He held it out so I could see it. I was scared of snakes and he told me they were just garter snakes and wouldn't hurt me. He seemed like he wasn't afraid of anything and I was in awe! Thinking of all the happy memories I had growing up in Salem with Spencer and Roxann. Praying for comfort and peace on all of you right now.

My heart is breaking for your family. The world had lost an amazing smile, an awsome father, a caring and involved man. Why the earth will be a little less without him, heaven will be so lucky to receive his warm, friendly soul. I hope you can feel those quiet moments of comfort when you feel his love for you, feel him near, the momentary awareness of how thin the veil is, and how close we are to our loved ones their. Prayers for you all, that you may receive comfort in this heartbreaking loss.
