Stacey Morgan Ramsey, 52, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Martinsville, November 23, 1961 to Juanita Cox Ramsey of the residence and the late Stephen Leon Ramsey. Stacey attended Drewry Mason High School and enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing. He attended Fontaine Baptist Church.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harry Treavor Cox and Irene Spangler Cox; paternal grandparents, Stephen Taylor Ramsey and Belle Frith Ramsey; an aunt, Helen C. Eggleston; four uncles, G. Wallace Cox, John D. Cox, Harry G. Cox and Thomas Junior Cox.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a half-sister, Mary Lynn Liakas of Orlando, Florida; aunts, Lorena C. Compton, Barbara C. Martin (J.C.), Clara C. Mize (Jackie) and Frances C. Hundley (Doug), uncles, Jesse L. Cox (Mary Ruth) and R. Kennon Cox (Martha).

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. Andrew Shanks officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral service and other times at the residence on Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville.

I am so very sorry that you are gone. We only had a short time. I am also sorry that we lost contact with one another. I will always cherish the fun times that me, you, Paul, Amanda & Lil Paul had together we did love you very much.
