Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 1, 2023.

JONESBORO - Stacy Lea Collins, 48, of Jonesboro passed away at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on Feb. 27, 2023. She was born July 2, 1974, in Glendale, Calif., to Harvey Collins and Patricia Amos Collins.

She enjoyed going to Burger King, bowling, coloring, collecting pens, paper and markers, going to the lake, loving on her sister's dog, Lucy, the occasional sip of wine and giving a toast while having her wine. She was a very happy soul.

Survivors include her parents, Harvey and Patricia Collins of the home; one sister, Cyndi Ball (Ben) of Jonesboro; her brother-in-law Ben's mother, Joan Martin Ball; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Hattie Collins.

I have such fond memories of Stacy, we attended First Presbyterian church in Jonesboro, many, many years ago, and I was the Sunday night youth teacher/coordinator. My children and I would go pick Stacy up to go to the youth group. She had the sweetest nature, was so very loving and affectionate. I remember when she got to work at the Convocation Center, she was so thrilled. I have thought of Stacy many time over the years and am so sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers to her family.
