Stacy Losasso Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 10, 2025.

Stacy Lynn Losasso, a devoted mother, nurse, and quiet warrior for compassion, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love. She was 52 years old.

Stacy's life was rooted in care. As a registered nurse, she spent over a decade bringing comfort and dignity to patients in hospice care, offering peace in life's most vulnerable moments. Later, as a case manager with Aetna, she continued to lead with empathy, advocating for those in need.

While raising her three children-Jaydon, Kylie, and Natalie-Stacy never lost sight of her goals. She earned her nursing degree while balancing the demands of motherhood, then went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, showing unwavering determination and grit.

Her love had no limits. She gave from the heart, often placing others' needs before her own. She found joy in feeding people-through food, laughter, and music. As the family's unofficial DJ and menu curator, she delighted in sharing song clips, recipes, or takeout suggestions. Whether it was Snoop Dogg, Post Malone, or a throwback track, she could name nearly any song in seconds-like magic, often faster than Shazam.

Stacy was a positive light in every life she touched. Whether you knew her for five minutes or your entire life, she was open, compassionate, and supportive. She accepted everyone without judgment and loved unconditionally-offering kindness not as a gesture, but as a way of being.

She made people feel welcome, seen, and safe. Her humor, warmth, and sincerity left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She believed in dignity, acceptance, and showing up-especially for those who felt unseen.

She was the beloved daughter of Kathleen Victoria Duda and Stephen Andrew Duda, who instilled in her a foundation of love, resilience, and compassion.

Stacy is survived by her children-Jaydon and his fiancé Kaly, Kylie, and Natalie-and her siblings: John (Stacey), Tammy (Piotr), Kathleen (Brian), Stephen (Melita), and stepsister Anne. She also had family from her biological father's side, including siblings with whom she shared a quiet connection, such as Fred and Crystal.

She leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Vincent Montalvo, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and friends whose lives were made brighter by her presence.

Stacy's legacy is one of unconditional love, steadfast care, and light in dark places. She gave the world her heart-and we are better for having known her.

A celebration of Stacy's life will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025. 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Milmay Christian Chuch. 1022 Tuckahoe Rd, Milmay, NJ 08340

Stacy, you will be definitely missed. We did not have a close relationship but we had a very close relationship with your sister who only spoke highly of you. I´m so sorry for your family. I love them like they´re my own family. I am sure you are in heaven, rest in peace.

What can I say other than I lost one of my three best friends, and it's truly heart breaking. She was not only my friend, she was my wife at one time and the Mother of my son Jaydon. She truly is a special person and I am going to miss her deeply.
