Stan Gustas Obituary

Stan Lee Gustas, died on March 20, 2008, in Oklahoma City, from complications of his cancer treatment. He was born on November 6, 1938, in Moline, to Stanley and Dorothy Gustas.
The oldest of three brothers, he was raised in Davenport, where he attended high school and graduated from the University of Dubuque. He was currently the Vice President, Finance for Vaughan Foods, Inc. He loved spending time with his family and friends and relaxing at Grand Lake. He relished the outdoors, his hot tub, golf cart rides with his grandchildren and tending to his roses.
He is survived by Midge, his wife of over 45 years; his son, Brian and wife Kathleen; his grandchildren, Christina, Peter, Lauren and Gregory; his brothers, Richard and Ronald and their wives Jill and Gina; his sister-in-law, Sandi Slaughter and her husband John; and many nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5-7 p.m. and the service on Monday at 2 p.m. with an additional viewing one hour prior. Both will be held at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary on MacArthur, Oklahoma City, Okla. Memorials may be made in honor of Stan to Mercy Health Center Foundation, 4300 W. Memorial Rd., Oklahoma City, OK 73120. Attn: Kay Oliver

GOD bless your family in your time of loss. Stan was a kind person and we enjoyed our times w/you all at the big Bowling Tournaments and monthly club nights.
Midge you are in our prayers and thoughts.
