Stanley Baldwin Obituary
(December 20, 1936 - March 3, 2014)
Stanley Jesse Baldwin, 77, of Clovis, NM died March 3, 2014, at his home in Clovis. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Faith Christian Family Church with Pastor David Swann officiating.
Stanley was born December 20, 1936, to Weldy C. and Esther Magdeline (Stone) Baldwin in Kokomo, IN. He married Mildred Joan Pruitt March 2, 1958, in Clovis, NM. He worked as an engineer for BNSF retiring from the Railroad after 37 years. He was a member of Clovis Portales Elks Lodge and loved playing cards, dancing, and his old country music.
Survivors include his wife, Joan of the home; three children, Keith (Anne) Baldwin of Clovis, NM, Tenesa Reid of Simi Valley, CA, and Tim (Melissa) Baldwin of Clovis, NM; two brothers, Duke Baldwin and Jip Baldwin of Kokomo, IN; a sister, Sharon Catron of Kokomo, IN; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldy and Esther; two brothers, Bud Baldwin and Butch Baldwin; two sisters, Jean Bowman and Jeri Phipps; and a great-granddaughter, Eden Baldwin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1856, Clovis, NM 88102.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Baldwin's passing. He will surely be missed. I missed delivering mail to him when I changed routes. Super nice and funny man. Joan and family, I will be praying for you all. This is a very difficult time for you. Will not be able to attend his homegoing, but will be thinking of you all. Uncle Stanley was truly a blessing in disguise. For as big as he was, inside he was really just a teddy bear. I will always remember him making me change a tire on our car after Dad was gone just so he knew that I knew how to do it. I love and miss you! Rest in peace!
