STANLEY

Born on Sept. 2, 1946. Age 59 of McKeesport, passed away on December 18, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. Stanley was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Helen (Webb) and George Fields. He was employed as a Security Guard at Carnegie Mellon University Campus Police Department for 17 years. In 2005 he received a Community Service award from the department for volunteer work as a counselor reflecting the department's highest standards of compassion and quality service. Stanley served as an elder in the McKeesport Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 30 years. His life, ideals, and aspirations all centered on mirroring Christ's example of a true Christian. Stanley is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Vernetta (Mike), and his loving children, Rachel and Eric. He is also survived by his siblings Earl of Arizona, Chester and George of California, and David of McKeesport, Pennsylvania. A Memorial Service will be held at the McKeesport Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Family services are under the WILLIG FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICESof McKeesport
