Stanley Kaminski

Stanley "Ksawery" Kaminski, 86, of Plainville, died June 2, 2008, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. He was the husband of Helene (Olender) Kaminski, for 57 years.
He was born in Poland Jan. 31, 1922, and lived in New Britain for the past 55 years and was a member of Holy Cross Church, New Britain. He retired from Fafnir Bearing Co., New Britain, after 29 years and served with the American Forces in Europe during World War II. He was a member of General Haller Post 111, Falcon's Nest 88, Fafnir Seniors and PNA 2612.
Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Henry Kaminski and his wife, Marilyn, of Indonesia; his daughter, Christiane K. Riella and her husband, Joseph Wayne, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; his stepgrandsons, Michael J. Riella, of Washington, D.C., and Stephen A. Riella, of Texas; his nephew, Raymond Rychlewicz, of Southington; and several nieces and nephews in Poland and France.
The funeral was held June 7 at Burritt Hill Funeral Home, New Britain, followed by a Mass at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
