Dear Ellen, Jill, Mark, and Marilyn,
I was so saddened to learn of your Dads passing. As you know, my father, Jack McCabe, and I both worked for him through the '70's at the Cheltenham store. Bradd Alan Bookstores was my remedial training for my career in the biz. Your father was a trailblazer in Philadelphia when it came to bookstore retailing and I do believe that Bradd Alan was the first bookstore chain in the city. Quite an accomplishment! My, how times have changed.
I realize that I am very late with this but I hope it finds you all well and healthy.

Mark, I'm so sorry for your loss...Your father was my dad's favorite cousin. When my dad passed away last year, it was a very difficult year, but at least I knew he was no longer in pain and no longer suffering. Your father was a very handsome man. He was sweet and just plain special. I guess you could say, he was a true Schiffman.. Anytime you need to talk, give me, or my sister, or brother, a call... Schiffmans stick together...
