It is Wed, Oct 5 at 6:00 pm. and I have just learned of Stan's passing. Needless to say, that as college roommates, Stan was and will always be an important person in my life, despite the fact that we have not remained in close contact. He Stan was one of the smartest, kindest and most sincere people I have ever met, and it is no surprise that we was an exceptional teacher. My heart goes out to Jane, Joe and Charlie for your loss, as well as to Stan's wife, children and grandchildren. However, please take comfort in the fact that the memories I and all of our close friends from college created with Stan still bring a smile and always will because he brightened every room wherever he may have been on campus. I just spoke on the phone with Bill Friend and Dan Brackemyre following their visitation. I am so sorry I couldn't have been with them, but they indicate that everyone present was very upbeat despite the loss, which is just the way Stan would have wanted it.

So sorry to hear of Stan´s passing-I was a classmate of Stan´s from class of Seymour High 1967. Ironically we have lived in Mooresville since 1986 and our kids went to school there. Our daughter is a teacher in one of the elementary schools now and was acquainted with him through work- our best to your family
