Stan and Henrietta, two people who have been so influential in my life. Henrietta, the cousin I wanted to be most like.... the beautiful teenager, young woman, young mother. Stan the handsome fiancé, husband, father. Look at the wedding pictures.... I'm the little flower girl who adored both of her glamorous cousins.... their energy, their dancing, their joy for life..... Visiting after their wedding, was a wonderful insight into a Catholic marriage.... and did you know that those evenings watching Bishop Sheen's TV show at your house... profoundly influenced my decision to leave the public school system and go to a Catholic University... Marquette, then DePaul and my last masters in business at Notre Dame..... all because of Cousin Stan and our conversations about Theology and Philosophy. Thanks Cousin Stan you started me on a wonderful journey! Our hearts go out to all of you on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Will keep you all in our prayers. I'm so saddened to hear about the passing of Uncle Stan. I haven't seen him in many years but I have very good memories from my childhood. His face just beamed when he smiled. He'll be missed by so many.
