STANLEY WALKER Obituary
On October 19, 2015, age 67, of Baldwin, Stanley was born in Carlisle, PA, the son of the late Louise (Chitti) Walker. Beloved husband of 44 years to Janice (Kramer) Walker; cherished father of Scott (Amber) Walker; loving grandfather of Paul Kurlfink- Walker and Taylor and Brookelyn Walker; special brother of Mafalda (Robert) Putt, Larry (Marcia) Violante, Kenneth (Cinda) Walker, Joseph (Karen) Walker, William (Gloria) Walker and Penny Wickard. Also many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister, Kandace Lindsay (husband Jeff survives). Dex had a passion for the beach, the sun and golf, but his love for his family is what he will be remembered for most. Friends received Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3511 Main St., Munhall 15120, (412-461-6394), where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Please share your memories and condolences at:

hey sweetheart...it was a year yesterday...lots of tears for sadness but also so many tears of joy...you were loved by so many people and they all had such wonderful things to say about you. Joy and Stretch came to visit me...it was wonderful having them here. We talked about you every day. She truly loved Scott, Amber, and the kids. Stretch was very proud of the family we have. And they mentioned the love you had for all of us made us a beautiful, loving family. Please continue to watch over us....love in our hearts always for you.

It has taken me this long to talk on here Stan... Do you remember when you almost put me down the regester instead of the clothes shute...you were always putting me down the clothes shute at your moms and one day...you missed that door on the wall and was about to let me drop into the furnace...
you were always trying to scare me at night when I would sleep over.... you were more like my brother than a cousin...I loved you with all my heart...and whn mom die4d, then david...you called me every day...you never missed a day and now I miss that phone call and I miss you... You would be so proud of Jan and Scott... so don't worry...please hug my mom and david for me... I miss you all terribly.... be at peace... debra sue

You were missed by all of us yesterday for Brookelyn's kindergarten graduation and Paul's senior graduation. I cried, knowing you would have wanted to be there with us...I'm sure you were there watching from above and so proud! I'm trying but I miss you every day and you are always in my thoughts. I just heard of Stan's passing and I can't find words to express how truly sorry I am for your loss. He was a great man. I'll always remember him tanning on the roof and lawn of 10 Duff Road when we all worked for D'Appolonia. He will be missed by many. With our deepest sympathy.

Dearest Walker family, relatives, and friends,
I was lucky enough to work with Stan at Parkway Reproduction Co. in Swissvale way back in 1977 and then again 20 years later at The IT Group in Monroeville. And even though the passage of time in between brought big changes in both our lives, seeing Stan again after all those years was special. I'll always remember how just shaking the hand of an old friend made the first day of that new job the best day of that new job. Stan truly was "the man" and will be sorely missed by all who knew him the best and loved him the most.
Please accept my most sincere condolences and know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time. I know he walks with the Lord.

I will always remember your smile and how I called you Nos Mo King from the Paul Shannon adventure hour when you wore your trench coat and sunglasses driving around in your tiny race car. I will miss the smell of your cologne on the holidays! And I will never forget the Christmas at the house on McBride that we all passed Dads new camera microphone around and spoke into it..that was one of my favorite childhood Christmases with the entire family laughing and having a good time. I am so blessed to have known Stan for the past 11 years and to have been welcomed by him as a part of the family. He was a wonderful man and his presence will be deeply missed. I will always be thankful for the extra time we were able to spend with him on vacation this summer and will fondly remember him happily soaking up sun rays in the pool while enjoying the most important thing in his life, his family. My love and prayers are with you all.
