Stanley Ray "Stan" Wilson, a devoted Christian and lifelong man of faith, passed away on December 12, 2024, in Elkin, North Carolina. He was born on March 30, 1958, in Merced, California, to Raymond and Tommie Jean Wilson and was the eldest of five siblings.

Stan spent his formative years in Atwater, California, where he attended the Atwater Elementary School District and graduated from Atwater High School. Stan was a football and baseball star in high school he enjoyed sports throughout his life. After completing his education, he embarked on a dedicated career at Gallo. Known for his quiet demeanor, Stan was a man of few words but possessed a gift for offering wise advice and a well-timed sense of humor.

Faith was the cornerstone of Stan's life. A devout Christian, he cherished his relationship with God and faithfully attended church every Sunday alongside his loving wife, Gale. His devotion to his family was unwavering; Stan prioritized being present for every significant moment in their lives. He had a generous heart and made it a point to connect with family and friends regularly, ensuring they felt loved and valued. He leaves behind his wife Gale and his Children, Jeremy, Catlin, Matthew and Chris and his Granddaughter Malani.

Stan will be remembered for his kindness, faith, and ability to create lasting memories with those around him. His legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service to honor Stan's life will be held on February 9, 2025, at 1pm Atwater community center.

May the memory of Stanley Ray Wilson bring comfort and peace to all who were blessed to know him.
