Stanley Neve Wrubel

Stanley Neve Wrubel, 89, passed away on December 2, 2024, in Webster, MA. Born on June 28, 1935, in Utica, NY, Stanley dedicated much of his life to his country and his community.

Stanley proudly served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957, a period during which he committed himself to the values of duty and service. After his military service, he embarked on a lengthy career as an Experimental Assembler at Pratt & Whitney, where he worked for 43 years. His work ethic continued to shine as he later joined Home Depot, contributing another 13 years before retiring.

He was a graduate of Oxford High School, and his love for learning and personal development was evident throughout his life. Stanley was a family-oriented man, hardworking and deeply passionate about animals. He had a special affinity for going to concerts, with The Beach Boys being his favorite group.

Stanley was an avid bowler and photographer, hobbies that allowed him to capture moments of joy and competition. His devotion to caring for animals reflected his compassionate nature and respect for all living beings.

He is survived by his son, David J. Wrubel and daughter-in-law Linda A. Wrubel; granddaughter, Samantha D. Wrubel and grandson Ian Hancock (and wife Blythe Hancock) ; brother, Philip Wrubel and and sister-in-law, Elaine Wrubel; son-in-law, Ted Faford; grandchildren, Jonathan Faford (and wife Megan Faford) and their children, Mason and Logan Faford, Kayla Faford, and Joshua Faford. Stanley was preceded in death by his brother Kevin Wrubel, his beloved wife of 51 years, Paula Marie Wrubel, and daughter Linda Jean Faford.

Stanley's life was a testament to his enduring spirit and his commitment to his family and community. He will be remembered for his dedication, love, and the joy he brought to those around him.
