STARLA
On Saturday, November 7, 2015, Starla, age 71, of Robinson Twp. Beloved wife of the late James; loving mother of Robert (Gary), John "Peppy", Nick (Kendra), Rozzanna (John) and Gabrielle (Phineas). Preceded in death by her parents, John and Laura Galovich and sister, Debby. How do you measure a wonderful life? By the people you loved and the people who loved you: Kenny and Ron Pappaterra, Henry and Val Carpelotti, Charlotte, Ken and Bethany Markle, John and JoAnn Seretti. Also survived by brother-in-law, John and wife, Connie; and numerous nieces and nephews. As a chef Starla had the opportunity to cook for Lidia Bastianich and WQED's Rick Sebak. Friends received at the ANTHONY M. MUSMANNO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 700 7th St., McKees Rocks on Tuesday 2-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Malachy Church Wednesday at 12 noon. Rozzanna, Gabby, and the entire Bonesso family. I am so saddened by the loss of your mom. She truly was a great person loved by so many people and so very important in many lives. I loved talking with her on a daily basis and just loved her wonderful outlook on life. Always so positive and so full of life and happiness. Your mom will be missed by all those lives she touched. She was a true treasure, and you all will be in my prayers. God bless.

Nick & Kendra, I'm so very sorry. I met Starla only once, about 100 years ago! The impression I got was that she was smart, warm and a little bit fearless. I know she must have been very special to have raised you to be who you are, Nick. Your family is in my prayers.
