Stephen Barnett Obituary
Steve was born in Willows, May 1, 1960 and attended Willows High, Sycamore, and Murdock schools. He is survived by his daughter, Dejah of Anderson, CA; his mother Sharron Blagrave Barnett of Arvada, CO; and father Joseph E. Barnett Jr. of Burney, CA. He is also survived by a brother Joseph E. Barnett III of Redlands, CA; and two sisters Elizabeth (Dodson) Lahey of Denver, CO and Lee Ann Barnett of Waco, TX. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Jason E. Barnett.
Steve was an avid fisherman and loved the wilderness of Idaho where he had made many wonderful friends and his home since 2001. "It was a great privilege to be a friend of his. He touched all our lives in ways he never knew." He will be missed by all.
A graveside memorial for Steve will be held on October 10, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Whiskeytown Cemetery near Redding, CA. Donations to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers are deeply appreciated.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Dad and I talked and had great memories of Steve working cattle,summers in the Mt. (concow and stirling city), water skiing at stony Gorge and growing up in Willows. Both of us are so Sad and sorry to learn of this new.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Joe. and your family. I have vivid memories of Steve, growing up in Willows. He's so young. So sorry to learn of this.
