Stella Reid

REID - Stella Reid of Imperial, SK, our courageous and fun loving mother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility at the age of 88 years after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her husband Clare of 63 years in 2002, son Howard in 1966, brother George, sisters: Evelyn, Elsie and Margaret. She is survived by her 5 children: Ruby (Paul) of Holdfast, SK, Norma (Kal) of Crooked Lake, SK, Jim (Lynne) of Langley, BC, Don (Marg) of Prince Albert, SK and Darcy (Debbie) of Sylvan Lake, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister Sylvia Zaron, sister in law Edith Peterson, brother in law Dick Cox and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of L.L.V.I.F for the excellent care of our mother for the past two years. The Funeral Service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church in Imperial, SK on Friday, March 9th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Richard Meredith officiating. Interment will follow in Imperial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Stella can be made to the Long Lake Valley Health Foundation. Fotheringham McDougall Funeral Service in care of arrangements.
