Stephanie LAMONTAGNE Obituary
April 25, 1983 - October 3, 2014
Predeceased by grandparents Marcel and Liliane Lamontagne. Survived by her husband Justin Bytautas; mother Marie Guillon; father Louis Lamontagne; brothers Philippe (Kristen) and Alexandre; sister Véronique (Kas); and grandparents Jacques and Pego Guillon. Stephanie lived the life to the fullest and she gave it all to her husband, family and friends. She made friends in Ottawa, Whistler, Toronto and Montreal. She loved snowboarding, sailing, swimming and partying. She will be greatly missed by all and will live forever in our hearts. A Celebration will be held for family and close friends on October 11, 2014 in the afternoon at the boathouse on Lake Memphemagog near Mansonville, where she spent her last few weeks after battling an ovarian cancer with courage, dignity and strength. Depuis que j'ai appris les nouvelles concernant Stéphanie; je ne peux pas imaginer la douleur que vous tous, avez ressentie lors de sa maladie et son départ; j'étais sans mot pour ses moments difficiles pour vous.
Nos tendres pensées et prières vous accompagnent, je garde un beau souvenir de son sourire dans sa robe de mariage mais surtout de sa bonté. Nous vous présentons toutes nos condoléances.

Dear Justin,
We have never met but I worked alongside Stephanie for 8 months. I am sadden to hear she is no longer with us.
I knew her when she was planning her wedding and got to hear some amazing and frustrating stories that go with getting ready for the big day.
Stephanie spoke fondly of you often and I got to know you indirectly through her stories. She truly loved you and I marveled how excited she was to be with you everyday.
My deepest condolences go out to you and her family she was one in a billion.

I've been lucky enough to get to know Stephanie because of Tanya.
To me, this just doesn't seem like reality. Steph has always been someone who lived life to the fullest. She had such a spirit, a spark about her that was so infectious.
It's not everyday that you can say that someone crammed 90 years into 31, but she accomplished just that.
