Stephanie Alena Phillips Newton, age 38 of Forest City, NC, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center in Rutherfordton, NC. She was a native of Spartanburg County, SC and the daughter of Connie Toney (Rodney). Stephanie loved to draw and help others in any way she could. She was always working for the Lord in her ministry to others.
In addition to her mother and step father she is survived by her “adopted” mother Brenda Biggerstaff, five children; Braxton Phillips (Cheyenne), Breanna Staton, Serenity Phillips, Destaney Ellason and Haven Ellason, two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter Remi Phillips.
A memorial service will be held October 30th, 2021 at 11:00am at Faith Baptist Church - 147 West main St. ext Forest City NC 28043.
Mama is a hippie, she would love a variety of all the colors at her memorial, so don’t wear black.
