It's been six years since you went above. I got to know you for a short amount of time. I know you are missed by many. The loss never goes away. But I know you are looking down on everyone.

I will forever remember her beautiful smile, bubbly personally and competitive nature when playing cards or a game!! I will also remember setting off the smoke alarm everytime I tried to teach her to cook and neither of us knew the code!!! My love will always be with you. May Jehovah GOD grant you strength beyond what is normal and hold you in his loving care.

I will never forget Steph and the classes we shared in high school! She was such a trip and one of the coolest chicks I had the pleasure of meeting. I remember that we did not have it easy in high school bc being different was not "cool" and people were so quick to judge based on looks alone. Steph definitely taught me how important it was to not judge a book by its cover. She was such a strong, caring, compassionate human being that we will miss her here with us, as society is lacking with people like her. God has definitely acquired one of the good ones. I have no doubt that she is keeping watch over all of us... Since she was and will forever be such a social butterfly :) RIP for eternity! Your memory will be with us forever engraved on our hearts! Xoxo

To the Sumpter family, you have my deep heart felt condolences. It is never easy to lose a loved one. Especially one that was so full of life as Stephanie. I had the amazing priviledge to work with both Stephanie and Melissa at then Harrignton Benefits. They were truly two peas in a pod and always full of laughter. As we will all miss her we just need to remember she just chnaged her address from her earthly body to her heavenly home. May you find comfort and peace during your time of bereavement.

May peace and comfort find you all during this difficult time and want to express our sympathy for your loss and to let you know that our thoughts are with my Sumpter family. My heart aches so much Stephanie Sumpter? you just can't even imagine, anytime I needed a shoulder to cry on, to vent, chit chat about anything in life, share a story, you were always there but now your gone...I lost you...I, I don't know what to say, think or do. I was waiting for your call as I had so much to still say to you and it's not fair..but I must shake this off and let you be, let you rest in peace, let you celebrate with Jesus and all your loved ones from above. You have gained wings and now an angel. You have been my best friend, my sister and I beg you, please Stephanie, be my angel, be here to guide me and lift me up in life. I will always love you, you will always be in my heart...but most, I'll be waiting for your call...

Steph, we are going to miss you! You were a true one of a kind and an inspiration to us all! Despite your struggles, you helped others, you had the heart of gold! I'm a selfish person so I would rather you be here but I understand, your needed somewhere else. Just know Andy and I loved you for many reasons, your sense of humor...the fact that I'm 7 years older than you and I could start a song(any kind) and you could chime in with the words, your love of football and NASCAR! You made this world a better place:) Rest Peacefully Stephanie XOXO

Steph was an amazing young lady. We will miss her terribly.
I pray that God gives her family the strength they need to get through this difficult time.
Bless those who mourn, eternal God, with the comfort of your love
that they may face each new day with hope
and the certainty that nothing can destroy
the good that has been given. May their memories become joyful,
their days enriched with friendship,
and their lives encircled by your love.
Amen.

There simply aren't words to give at this time. The words seems empty and hollow. Stephanie was a complete joy to be around. always a smile and always full of life! she was feisty, i loved her sense of humor. She was also very caring and would go to the ends of the earth for you. i read all the posts coming through as people learned of the news. It was so touching. I thought to myself, I think she would be very pleased to know that she had touched so many loves in such a profound way. I will never forget her. I was blessed to have known her and I will keep her with me always. Rest in Peace, Stephanie.

I am deeply saddened and shocked of hearing of Stephanie's passing. She has been a friend since elementary school, and I will remember most her sense of humor!

Stephanie, Stephanie, Stephanie! Wow! Tryna find words that can accurately describe how I feel. There are none.
I was, however, recalling the last time we spoke, and how we were talking about how "turned up" we were gonna be for your birthday party tomorrow at Cornerstone. Now, instead of celebrating your birthday, we'll all be celebrating your life and sharing memories of you and how you touched the lives of those of us you've left behind to mourn you.
I will always cherish your memory. And though you and I weren't as close as some of your other friends, you knew I would fight Satan himself over you. I don't understand WHY God needed to take you. It certainly can't be because He needed you more than we. Anyway, it's not my place to question Him. I won't be sad, I promise. I KNOW you wouldn't want that. I'm gonna try to laugh and smile tomorrow as I KNOW you'd do if it were YOU saying farewell to ME. I thank God for allowing our paths to intersect. You were already an angel. You changed me. You changed a lot of us. For that, I will always be grateful. Look in on me from time to time. God bless you. Until we meet again, baby girl, sleep well.

Although my eyes are flooded with tears and my heart is breaking for Stephanie's family, this is a time we should be rejoicing! Stephanie has gone home to be with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We are still in absolute shock she is gone but she will absolutely NEVER be forgotten. I promise you. Although we all knew how special she was and all her wonderful traits, she left a mark in everybody she knew and I don't think we realized it until we saw the text on our phone early Tuesday morning saying she was gone. She will be missed tremendously!
Mr & Mrs Sumpter, please don't hesitate to contact us if you need anything we can help with...and I mean anything! Grocery shopping, errands, etc. We are here for you.
Our deepest Condolences and Love,
Mike & Andrea Jordan (and Paris, too!)
Psalm 23:1-6
A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
