Stephanie Renee Tucker

Stephanie Renee Tucker, 47 years old of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and friends at North Oaks Medical Center. She was born on Monday, April 6, 1970, in Hammond, Louisiana to Marcel L. Tucker Jr. and Joanna Bevere Tucker. Stephanie enjoyed life and loved reading, writing, cooking, astronomy, spending time with her friends and her cat, Chloe. Most of all, she loved her niece and nephews "to the moon and back". Stephanie is survived by her loving mother, Joanna Bevere Tucker, her sister, Becky DiPietro and husband Paul, her niece, Lauren DiPietro, her nephews, Eric and David DiPietro, her partner, Robert Gonzales, her uncle, Larry Bevere and wife Gail, aunts, Rosemary Mizell and husband Robin, and Pat Tucker Lobue and husband Joe, and her very close cousins, Melanie Bevere Hall, Pat Sanford III and Tiffany Sanford Buttone, as well as many other cousins and close friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Marcel L. Tucker Jr., her maternal grandparents, John and Guydia " Tiny" Bevere and her paternal grandparents, Marcel and Dell Tucker, Sr. A Visitation for Stephanie will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 8:00 am until 9:30 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. We will then proceed to Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Tickfaw for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial Celebrating Stephanie's Life. Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery in Tickfaw. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice in Stephanie's memory.
