My Dear Baby Brother-

I remember a young blond boy who couldn't wait to open his Xmas presents and followed me everywhere.
I remember a young teen who loved to laugh, play practical jokes and draw.
I remember an older teen who couldn't wait to get home from school to ride a go kart down the long hill next to our house, would always bring his friends home and went to every Niner home game with me.
I remember a young man who drove a white camaro, went to college and finally brought his dream car, a blue corvette.
I remember a man who when we were in our twenties was my best friend, escorted me to Super Bowl XXIII and stood next to me holding my hand on the most incredible day of my life January 12, 1990.
I deeply regret that there are no recent memories. I hope you are now in a happier place looking down realizing that I have and will continue to love and miss you.
I pray you have found peace.

Patricia, Janine, Brianna, Kelly & Family - My Condolences. Steve was my Bridge Construction Engineer in the early 90s out of our San Francisco Brannan St. Field Office. Worked with him last Memorial Day Weekend on the Dumbarton Closure - calling you guys at home -too- early one of those mornings. He will be missed as one of those individuals willing to take on the always challenging & often difficult & confrontational task of building our Bridges. He's been called away from us too soon; he only has a few years on me. Rest In Peace, Steve - thanks for your advice on running Projects.

I worked with Steve at Caltrans and got to know him. I was very shocked to hear of his passing. I remember that he clung fastly to his Catholic Faith. He was a good example to follow. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace. He was still such a young man.

It warms my heart to see all of the familiar names and read all of the nice things said here.... I have been thinking about all of practical jokes Steve used to traumatize me with and it has brought a smile to my face... You always think you have time, and then you don't....
now you are at peace, my brother...
I look forward to the day we meet again....
