My Dearest Godmother: Please know that although we are many miles apart my thoughts and prayers are with you and all of your family every day. I know what a great guy Uncle Steve was (what a beautiful smile and laugh he had)and how faithful to our faith he was. There is no doubt in my mind that he and my mom are enjoying Paradise today. For those of you who read these entries, he is my father! Those that know him never forget him for he was as kind and generous as any man on earth. He is my role model for being a good man, and that day he died, i saw a look of courage that most men dream of. When he was told he would die, he accepted death and never questioned his faith. I'd like everone to know how very proud of him I am and if I were half the man he was, I'd be better than most. I have known Pap for the last 8 years and I got to know what a kind and humble man he was. I have never met anyone else like him. What was even more amazing was the impact that he made on Jeff for the last 24 years, and for that I will always be grateful.

Words cannot even express how i felt for Steve,and his family,i always felt like i was part of their family, a loving family, that are so close . So truly amazing, the love he had for each of them was from the heart, , Steve& Dorthy my best friends, and part of my life everyday, I'm going to miss him ,and just seeing the love he had for his wife,was something that can be cherished forever, it was so real and wonderful, At peace now ,but a man that will never be forgotten.
