Stephen "Steve" Reyes Hayne of Madisonville, KY, formerly of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away at on Saturday, July 9, 2011 due to injuries received in a car accident. Mr. Hayne was born April 12, 1951 in Ft. Campbell, KY. He was of the Christian faith and attended Solid Rock Church in Madisonville, KY. For 16 years he was a volunteer with Recovery Based Programs and loved his family, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Mr. Hayne is survived by his mother ~ Sue Ellen Hayne of Dawson Springs, KY; his wife ~ Anne Marie (Annie) Hayne of Madisonville, KY; Two Daughters & Sons-in-law ~ Brittnie & Kevin Whitaker & Stacie & Paul Rhodes all of Walkerton, IN; Two Step-Sons & Daughters-in-law~ Jason & Tiffany Bernal & Nick & Hannah Bernal both of Madisonville, KY; Two Sisters ~ Mary Jo (Joey) Oldham of Madisonville, KY & Vicki Tapp of Dawson Springs, KY; & Fourteen grandchildren ~ Byant (Brooke) Whitaker, Kristin Whitaker, Jared Rhodes, Trey Rhodes, Evan Rhodes, Lexsey Bernal, Dakota Lynch, Serenity Lynch, Cresencio Bernal, Venice Bernal, Rose Marie Bernal, Olivia Bernal, Sophia Bernal & Valerie Bernal.
Preceding Mr. Hayne in death was his father ~ Joe Hayne (departed 6/13/2011) & One Brother ~ Joseph Hayne.
Visitation for Mr. Hayne will be on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. and Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 8:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday morning also at Beshear Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Taylor Richardson, Brian Hooper, Ted Chandler, Shawn Scott, Curtis May & Rich Crabree.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to defray the cost of final expenses. Contributions may be sent to:
