Steve has always been about family, my first memory of him was how he took care of his family and how he was very present in every milestone of his family's lives. You will be extremely missed. Love DeeDee, Cornel, Christian and Jaidyn

One of my favorite memories was watching Steve as a father. He would beam with pride when we would be altogether with his family celebrating many occasions. He was a good role model to them regarding supporting the family and making sure to create memories with them. He especially enjoyed taking everyone, including the dogs, in his boat to enjoy time together.

Art and I were so sorry to hear of his passing. The Mapes´ family are all a very kind and loving family. Prayers to the family and hope you all find peace.

Steve was a Strong presence in his family's lives and his friends and co-workers. He would help anyone who asked him. He loved sports board games boating skiing and traveling just to name a few. He was a great brother to Densie and I and a wonderful Uncle to our children. He was a generous and giving person he will be missed by all who knew him. God Bless you brother I miss you so much.

We have a lifetime of love and memories together. Even divorce couldn´t keep us apart. I don´t know how to do this life without you, but it looks like I´m going to have to. Until we meet again. Love you always and forever. Love, Mo
