Mr. Stephen Clarence "Ropie" McKoy

Stephen Clarence McKoy fondly known as "Ropie" was born in Dunn, North Carolina on July 30, 1960, to the late Stephen McKoy and Hazel Mae McKoy. He went home peacefully to his eternal home on December 17, 2020, from his earthly home in Augusta, Georgia. Stephen graduated from Dunn High School in Dunn, NC. Stephen loved fishing, watching football, playing the drums, working in the yard, traveling, and hanging out with friends. Celebrating his homegoing are his three children, Stephen Grady of Erwin, NC, Je'Nise McKoy of Raleigh, NC, and Donna Hunter of Dexter, Maine; his four grandchildren, Kalea Grady, Stephen Grady, Skylair Grady all from Erwin, NC, and Kamryn Byfield of Raleigh, NC; four siblings, Laura Mozel Guyon of Dunn, NC, Sylvia Carter of Wilmington, NC, Stevette Godwin of Dunn, NC and Freedman McKoy of Lillington, NC; his fiance', Mindy Dugas of Augusta, GA; his special friend, Jeremiah Pina of Augusta, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
