To the family of Steve McLaughlin: I was deeply saddened to learn of Steve's passing, too young, but cancer doesn't care does it? I was Steve's barber at the Classic Cut for many years. I married Lyn McMillan, Joanne, and we are living in your old house in Candia. I never dreamed with all the year's and all the stories that Steve used to tell me that I would be living at the source. He was a heck of a guy! Ben stopped by a few years back to reminisce. He is a pleasure and always welcome.
So sorry for your loss. Sincerely Tom and Lyn Parkhurst

G_d Bless and Keep this beautiful man! We've know Steve for 41 years. He was the kindest, gentlest of human beings! A loyal friend who deeply loved his family and was grateful for what life had given him.We consider ourselves lucky to have enjoyed his warm friendship during our years in New York and after their move to New Hampshire. We are sure Steve is watching over those he loved, sitting in a comfy chair with a hot cup of tea and cookies!!! Our prayers to Joanne, Stephanie, Ben and Tim and their families.

Kim and I extend our deepest condolences. I was saddened today when a former colleague at FLIR sent me the link from the newspaper. Steve was always a joy to work with and a consummate professional. He was a smart problem solver who took immense pride in getting a job done right the first time. He will be deeply missed. We will hold you up in our prayers. God is good!

I read his notice and send my condolences to Matthew and Michaela. I still have my slide rule and I had so much fun going through nuclear power school with it as my Navy issued weapon to solve the most complex problems. Again prayers for Stephen at tomorrow's mass. Joe Gagnon

Steve was my manager and mentor back in 1986. We worked shoulder to shoulder as sales engineers for LeCroy. We were close. There were dozens of meetings, oscilloscope demonstrations, trade shows, trips to our factory in NY, and meals discussing all things technical, political, comical, philosophical, anything and everything. He was the best. Stephen was so smart at math and problem solving, so fast at finding humor in most any situation, and always showing humility and respect to everyone. He had great love and pride of his family and his Irish heritage. He loved his wife, his children, music, the Globe, Letterman, art, good books, computers, and learning to understand all new things.
My deepest condolences to every McLaughlin, relative, and friend of Stephen. Its a big loss that leaves a lot of hearts heavy. I'm so proud and honored to be one of them. RIP brother - Semper Fi

I've known Mr. McLaughlin for 20 years. He was a true original and possessed a rare combination of wit, knowledge on a seemingly infinite amount of topics and a fun-loving and gregarious personality. This is heartbreaking and he will be sorely missed. My condolences to the vast McLaughlin clan.
