Steve Edward Oberst, 58, of Okemos, Michigan, passed away on October 10, 2023. Steve, also known as Stephen, was born on January 5, 1965, in Lansing, Michigan. He was the beloved son of the late William A. Oberst Jr. and Suzanne E. (Keopke). Steve is preceded in death by his brother, Phillip.

Steve will also be missed by his aunts, Mary Beth LaForgia and Nancy (Jim) Hepher, as well as his five nephews and three nieces. Additionally, he leaves behind several cousins who will cherish his memory.

A Celebration of Life for Steve Edward Oberst will be held on November 4, 2023, from 1-4 pm at the American Legion in Haslett, Michigan. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and remember Steve's life.

May Steve's soul find eternal peace, and may his memory forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Steve was fun to be around. Running into him up north after he was out snowmobiling with a close friend. His beautiful curly hair & his sense of humor. A companion you never wanted to let go of. Heaven just gained my favorite
