JASONVILLE — Stephen Michael “Mike” Sinders, 59, of Sullivan, and formerly of Jasonville, died at 1:07 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born on Aug. 25, 1949, in Brazil, to Herschell Sinders and Goldie Keller Sinders. Survivors include his aunts, Lois Miller of Jasonville, Gladys Reece of Linton, Ethel Rush of Indianapolis and Vernilia Vest of Jasonville; numerous cousins; special friends, John and Priscilla Burlison, Kelsey Foster, Vickie Pierce, Amy Sullivan, Marvin and Jenny Padgett and Diana Brown.He was preceded in death by his parents.Mike was a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle in Sullivan, and was most known for his toy tractor collection, his compassion, his steady friendship, his willingness to help others and for his love for all things green and yellow. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, in McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home, 631 East Main St., in Jasonville, with Pastor David Scott officiating. Burial is in Peavey Cemetery in Howesville. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until services Wednesday in the funeral home.

You were a kind hearted, gentle soul. My life was forever changed for having known you. We had our trials and tribulations since we met but it only strengthed our relationship. My only regret is not being a better friend and being there when you truly needed me. I am glad that you are no longer in pain and hope there are horses, dogs, and tractors aplenty where you are!

Mike, my heart aches from missing you. i don't think this is fair and wish you were here with us. Thanksgiving was so hard without you. Been going through your pictures and I'm impressed! We are going to have a calendar made in your memory. I don't know how to let go. You were our best friend all the kids are missing you desperately and Marvin is not the same. I know that your in heaven there at a special place where all the tractors go! help us to deal with each day. We love and miss you. Jenny
