I truly Loved Steve, he and I had some really good times at Camp Pendleton.
Will never forget when he called after many years of separation. a voice that I recognized so well said "where you been". wasnt too many days later that I picked him up at the airport in Jacksonville Fla. Several old navy buddies were able to come for a get together. How fortunate I was to know this person. George Speyerer Jacksonville Beach Fla

My sympathies to the family. i remember Steve when he came to Van Buren to work with his uncle so many years ago. My family was so very fond of him. He was so cheerful and had such a great smile. I remember thinking how well suited he was for his chosen profession.

Dear Margaret and Kathleen, We were deeply saddened to hear of Steve's passing. Although we have lost touch over the years we have thought of you all many times. Memories of growing up as your next door neighbor still and always will bring a smile to my face. Steve was quite a guy or as my father would have said, "he was a real character". He will be missed. Love to all of you.

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. It brought back a rush of fond memories of a truly wonderful man. Whether on the golf course, running into him around town, or those unfortunate times when we all spent time with him through his work, he always had a smile and found a way to make you laugh. Dear Margaret,Kathleen and family,
We are so saddened by the loss of Steve. What a guy!! Great husband, great father, and a great "umpa". The fun times that we have had with the two of you will linger in our memories forever. What was any more fun than our fall weekends when the 4 couples would come over to your home for our annual visit. The stories might have always been the same year after year but they were true and heartfelt stories that meant so much to all. We will miss him dearly but the happy memories will never fade. God bless all of you. You are in our prayers.

Steve was a good and generous man. He will be missed by all who knew him. Over the years, my wife and I bumped into Steve on Main Street in the very busy Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This occurred on two different occasions and both Steve and we were amazed that we would just happen upon each other over 1500 miles from home. Steve was down in Florida on golf trips with his buddies, and he really enjoyed those times. God bless Steve and his family.

Condolences to Maggie and the family. Steve and I grew up around the corner from each other, went to school together and he was a life long friend. Even though we both left Old Town many years ago, it was always great to see him at HS reunions. The best thing I can say about Steve was that "He was a good guy". He WILL be missed
